The villa is beautifully appointed and in itself is evidence of the effort that has been put in to create a wonderful holiday accommodation
GROUNDS:
All of the grounds were beautifully maintained and create a stunning backdrop to a wonderful holiday
LAKE:
The lake is stunning, peaceful, tranquil piece of heaven that makes you want to just sit and gaze at it all day!
FISHING:
Considering that we did not fish to any intensity, just mornings & evenings. Saw lots of signs of very big fish crashing at all times of the day but especially late evening and I think that with some serious effort the lake would produce some excellent results!

A pleasant surprise straight out the top draw!! Everything has been premeditated se we were left wanting for nothing, in fact, we could have packed for less if we knew what to expect!
GROUNDS:
Well maintained and seemingly carefully planned. We came with two young children, though I expect La Couarde see's a mainly adult audience, and there was still plenty to do, we even roasted chestnuts from the tree's!
LAKE:
conveniently located, well maintained and fishing great, conditions considering!
Only fished 2 hours in the morning and an hour or so in the afternoon/evening.

Excellent, all you could want and more.
GROUNDS:
The gardens are very well planned and maintained.
LAKE:
The lake is very well stocked. if you do not catch here you are doing something wrong!
FISHING:
The Fishing is the best we have ever had, our 13 year old son broke his PB 4 times!

Believe it or not this trip was the first time since owning La Couarde that I have been able to spend more than an hour or so fishing! With just myself and my mate Adam fishing from Sunday to Friday, through some heavy rain, the fishing was excellent.
